Goals and objectives
Purpose: organization of research activities in the field of social sciences and humanities to obtain new scientific results on the processes of development and modernization of the Kazakh society and to develop practical recommendations for effective management of them.
The achievement of this goal is carried out by solving tasks in several directions.
1. Research direction
комплексное исследование процессов становления и развития суверенной демографической системы Казахстана, перспективный анализ этнодемографического развития в контексте современных модернизационных процессов;
study of the processes of Kazakhstan's urbanization, identification of the features of the evolution of the socio-cultural space of the Kazakh city;
development, organization and conduct of sociological research on the study of the current Kazakh reality;
comprehension of the features of the socio-cultural dialogue and identification of new opportunities/risks of its course in the conditions of Kazakhstan modernization;
development and implementation of interdisciplinary research projects, participation in competitions at various levels for the performance of research works.
2. Scientific and organizational direction
organization and holding of scientific conferences, scientific and methodological seminars, lectures, master classes and other events, including with international participation and online;
preparation and publication of the results of research, scientific and practical activities in both printed and electronic format;
the use of IT technologies in conducting scientific research and presenting the results obtained;
organization of a scientific discussion space for students, undergraduates, doctoral students and teaching staff.
3. ducational direction
introduction of new scientific results into educational programs;
updating the content of academic disciplines in accordance with current scientific trends and teaching methods;
scientific and scientific-organizational consulting of students, teachers and staff, teachers of educational organizations on research and project activities;
scientific management of theses, master's and doctoral dissertations, research projects of students.
4. Socially-oriented direction
clarification and promotion of Kazakhstan's general civil values in the social space of the university and beyond;
effective cooperation with government agencies and public associations in order to study historical and current social processes at the regional, national and international levels.

Socio-reproductive sphere: planning of social policy in the field of support for large families, housing construction and social communication zones; construction of preschool institutions and schools, hospitals and other organizations that ensure sustainable reproduction of society; correction of the pension system.
Economic sphere: regulation of the labor market, control over household incomes, analysis of consumer behavior of the population.
Socio-cultural sphere: assessment of the needs of territories for cultural development facilities (scientific institutions, museums, theaters, libraries, etc.) and sports facilities, etc.
Political sphere: monitoring the social well-being of the population, maintaining civil peace and social stability.
